This Spring join Jenna Minnes for a weekend of release + nourishment at Sierra Hot Springs.
We will spend our time releasing physical impurities, thoughts and emotions to cleanse our spirit and feed ourselves with nourishment.
All levels welcome.

Cost includes “camping” either outside, in vehicle or in communal sleeping room.
There is a common area for kitchen, including use of stove, fridge, food storage and kitchen items (plates, pots, ect). The Philosophy Cafe in the lodge offers healthy, yummy and reasonably priced food for lunch and dinner.
There are a few options in “downtown” Sierraville such as the Fox and the Horn for breakfast, Dos Hermanos for Dinner and Smithneck Farms for coffee, breakfast sandwiches and delicious baked goods.

Embody Your Freedom 2018: Sierra Hot Springs Yoga Retreat with Satya Aune
Come and join us for an expansive yoga weekend in a beautiful retreat setting. If it feels time to tend to your body, heart, and soul in a deep and rejuvenating way, this will be the perfect atmosphere to dive in, stretch out, unravel, and replenish.
In this retreat, we’re focusing on awakening the shakti to have the earth energy and creative energy of source come up through the body. We’ll be opening the pelvis and the belly center to remove obstacles that keep it from flowing. Opening to the presence of being that descends from the crown. We’ll work with the dance between the two of them.
Our tendency is to be more in contact with one than the other — silence or creativity and activity. This is the dance between shakti and shiva. If you tend to feel off-balance — withdrawing or putting out a lot of energy, the soul becomes dull or overactive. This retreat will help you learn more about this in yourself and rebalance yourself. To find balance in ourselves is to help find balance in the larger world. It starts with ourselves.
This retreat will be a nourishing personal exploration and celebration of you exactly as you are. Our time together will emphasize learning to embrace yourself fully by including all of your parts so you can move into a felt sense of your own uniqueness and wholeness.

Jim Gallas is a certified yoga teacher with more than 25 years of teaching. He teaches in Santa Cruz, California at Body & Soul, as well as Esalen Institute in Big Sur. He also teaches Shiatsu, Anatomy, and Qi Gong. Jim has led many fun and informative workshops in California, Mexico, New Zealand, and Brazil.

Our workshop space offers a charming, yet simple and neutral atmosphere in which a wide variety of gatherings take place — from small personal growth seminars, to movement work or yoga. Our natural, secluded setting and healing springs create an environment that is relaxing, safe and supportive for people involved in a process of self-discovery.
Workshop participants receive extra value, as their class fees include indoor or outdoor camping space and full use of our facilities, including pools, hiking trails, guest kitchen use, and much more. Your participants are also welcome to take advantage of our excellent bodywork services, restaurant and small store at additional cost.
Although our primary function is to simply rent you the space, we do also provide some promotional support through our web site & displaying promotional materials. Catering services are also available for every size of group and every taste.
There is a full sound system compatible with multimedia or computer and a projector wth DVD/Bluray or computer compatibility for multimedia presentations.
