Soma, Sound & Soak:  Nourishing the Fluid Body

with Kathy Albers ERYT500, LMT

When we fall out of harmony with ourselves or our world – when we are overwhelmed, tapped out, our well is dry – our fluid body becomes constricted, sticky, sluggish.
We are parched and we need to quench the deep thirst within.
Our nervous system is fried from all of the external stimulus and the input of sound waves overstimulating our ears and eyes. We all require nourishment to replenish, to rehydrate, to reconnect to our Subtle Bodies, our Inner Light of the Soul.

~We will explore how we can tap into our deep well of nourishment through gentle movements that coax the opening of the body, instead of through force. Somatic movement is slow, soft and small that allows our body to gently open and become part of a whole integrated system. Being in the Flow of Life, we move with more ease, more sukha (sweetness).
~We will discover through Sound and Voice how to access our subtle bodies (thoughts, emotions, and states of consciousness) and help keep them free of toxicity. Though Chant and Mantra Chanting we release the spell that binds it to a hardened Ego. Expansion is the true nature of the soul.

~We will dive into the peaceful surroundings of the healing Waters of Life. By immersing into water, we return to the womb, the interstitial fluid of the cells and we are born anew. We will soften the edges, cleanse the body and purify the soul.

Inner Shift: The Work of Byron Katie & Meditation Retreat

with Helena Montelius, Certified Facilitator

The Work always leads you back to who you are.
Who you are is not an option.
You are love.
It hurts to believe you're other than who you are, to live any story less than love. ~Byron Katie

Welcome to join me for a fall meditation retreat at the beautiful Sierra Hot Springs.
I will share The Work of Byron Katie blended with different kinds of meditations.
Bring any issue you would like to shift, heal and bring to clarity or just come open to explore what arises in the moment.
The Work is a powerful process of self-inquiry, guiding you to find your own inner answers and solutions
and showing you a real way home to your true nature. We will explore how to uncover underlying beliefs
and how to live the turnarounds authentically.
Space for hiking and soaking in hot springs every day.
This retreat is for beginners and experienced practitioners both.

Helena has been practicing The Work of Byron Katie since 2000, became a Certified Facilitator in 2012
and have been a meditation practitioner/teacher for over 25 years.
