Sierra Hot Springs - Things to Know

Prepare Thyself

• Sierra Hot Springs is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
• We suggest you bring a towel, flashlight and appropriate footwear for rugged terrain.
• Bring your laptop and access free high speed wifi at the Main Lodge
• The pool area is clothing optional, and the dressing facilities are co-ed.
• Alcohol, drugs and pets are not permitted. (No pets may be left in vehicles.)
• No photography allowed without permit.
• Smoking is restricted to a specific area by the parking lot and the Temple Dome Dressing Room. .
• Open fires, candles and camp stoves are strictly forbidden.
• Guests must be 18 years or older, or accompanied by parent/guardian.
• Rooms are phone-free. Cell phones should be turned off upon arrival. Public pay phones are available.
• The warm pool is drained on the second and fourth Tuesday of a month.

Campers
• Campers are requested to arrive and set up before dark.
• Open fires, candles and camp stoves are strictly forbidden.

Families with Children
Sierra Hot Springs is a quiet and rather rustic retreat center. We have established a number of rules to ensure a safe visit for children, and to preserve a restful retreat atmosphere for adults. Please familiarize yourself with the following rules, as they are strictly enforced.
• Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. We highly recommend that at least two adults arrive prepared to take turns supervising a child, freeing each other to enjoy a soak, massage, meditation or other "adult" activities.
• Children are allowed in the Temple Dome Warm Pool from 11 AM to 6 PM only.
• If you have questions or concerns about our policies for families, please contact us for clarification before your visit.

Workshop Attendees
Workshops at Sierra Hot Springs are offered by independent teachers, facilitators and institutes. Advance arrangements should be made directly with the organizers, as we do not handle workshop registration.
